Nicki Minaj Checks Meek Mill, 50 Cent, DJ Khaled on “Barbie Dreams”

If you’ve been listening to Nicki Minaj’s new album Queen this week, then you’ve heard the song that has everyone talking: “Barbie Dreams”

In the song, which is inspired by The Notorious B.I.G.’s Ready to Die classic “Just Playing (Dreams),” Nicki raps about sex with her male peers, including Drake, 50 Cent, and her ex Meek Mill.

In referencing 50, she raps: “I tried to f*ck 50 for a powerful hour, but all that n*gga wanna do is talk Power for hours.” Apparently, 50 loved the line, tweeting: “South Side stand up the bitch @nickiminaj is really a problem. Out here killing sh*t.”

As for Drake, she raps: “Drake worth a hundred milli / Always buying me sh*t / But I don’t know if the p*ssy wet or if he cryin’ and sh*t.”

Quavo also makes the cut. “Somebody go and make sure Karrueche OK though / I heard she think I’m tryna give the coochie to Quavo.”

Nicki’s ex, Meek Mill, gets name-dropped too. “Meek still be in my DMs, I be havin’ to duck him / I used to pray for times like this / Face ass when I f*ck him.”

Other names include Future, 6ix9ine, Lil Uzi Vert, and Young Thug (“Used to f*ck with Young Thug / I ain’t addressing this sh*t / Caught him in my dressing room stealing dresses and sh*t”).

Despite the controversy, Nicki makes it clear to fans that “Barbie Dreams” is not a diss. “You guys know that that’s not a diss?” she said. “I love them and I said things about people who can take a joke and won’t be emotional about it.”
